Ms. Linda May, the new Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Greenwood Publishing Group as of February, 2001, is off to a great start building a completely new marketing department.  Ms. May says she's "striving to position Greenwood as the leading reference publisher while maintaining our historically strong presence in the monograph market."  Prior to joining the Greenwood Publishing Group, Ms. May was Vice President of Creative Services for the Gale Group, Vice President of Marketing for Grolier Educational and Vice President of Marketing and Sales with ABC-CLIO.

Ms. Lesa L. Scott, the new General Manager and Vice President of Heinemann (the highly respected Greenwood Publishing Group imprint) came on board in January, 2001.  Ms. Scott says her primary objective in her new position is, "to continue serving and dominating in the professional educational market."  She adds, "I'm committed to continuing the growth of the top line while striving to maintain the strong performance on the bottom line."  Before Ms. Scott joined Greenwood Publishing Group she was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Education Group of Scholastic.  Prior to that she was Scott Foresman's Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Mr. George Goldberg became Greenwood Publishing Group's Vice President and Director of Human Resources in December, 2000.  He says, "my goal is to develop and introduce programs and policies that support employees in sustaining outstanding financial results while we also look for opportunities to grow our business."  Prior to his appointment at Greenwood Publishing Group, Mr. Goldberg was employed as an independent Human Resources Consultant.  Before that he was Vice President, Director of Human Resources for Addison Wesley Longman.

Mr. Bob Chase recently joined Greenwood Publishing Group as Vice President Director of Operations.  Mr. Chase says his main objective for Greenwood Publishing Group is, "to develop a highly competitive infrastructure to support our aggressive revenue and electronic media growth plans."  Mr. Chase moved to Greenwood Publishing Group from Addison Wesley Longman where he'd been employed in various operational positions for almost thirty years, most recently as Vice President & Director of Customer/Logistical Services.
